Narconon® Canada Drug Rehabilitation Training

Narconon Canada’s training center provides professional training and guidance for the establishment of a Narconon drug rehabilitation center. There are two main options for adequate delivery of the Narconon program.

Residential or In-patient: The Narconon Canada network includes a free-standing residential drug rehabilitation facility in Trois-Rivières (Quebec), a drug prevention center in Vancouver (British Columbia), along with other developing centers nationally. The training takes approximately six months to complete on a full-time basis, with other staff requirements taking a shorter period of time.

Non-Residential: The Narconon drug rehabilitation program can also be delivered on a non-residential basis, when the facility is equipped to welcome a working public. There are some Narconon centers in large urban municipalities that deliver the program primarily on a non-residential basis.

When looking at an outpatient basis, only drug education and some rehabilitation services, such as the Narconon First Step program can be offered. The Narconon First Step is an educational program on the drug-free withdrawal methods, where addicts can learn how to voluntarily withdraw from drugs without requiring substitute drugs.
