While some experts claim that if addicts are not ready then you can't help them, this only holds true to a certain degree. You don't have to allow someone to hit "rock bottom" because that might be a long-term prison sentence or death. Often some type of intervention can be done to motivate the addict to seek help, which starts bringing the "bottom" up to them.
Examples of this could be a family, law enforcement or judicial intervention, or simply the right person educating them about what's truly going on with them to help bring a greater understanding to the situation. It's also about finding the correct solution to the problem.
This is where the Narconon® programs can help. Their drug rehabilitation and education programs offer various ways to help someone suffering from alcohol and other drug abuse. These include an at-home drug-free withdrawal guide, a series of educational booklets and videos, and a long list of outpatient and residential rehabilitation facilities around the world.
Narconon rehabilitation centers are among the most successful anywhere. Their services are in high demand because of the successful non-traditional approach to full drug rehabilitation based on research and developments of American author and humanitarian L. Ron Hubbard.
"When people from all over contact us for help for themselves or a loved one, they get more truth about drug addiction than they've ever had, as well as resources and solutions on how to solve the problem," says Clark Carr of Narconon International. "Relapse does not have to be part of the recovery process. We have been able to demonstrate that fact effectively every day by freeing people stably from the downward spiral of addiction."
