Canadian Drug Prevention Campaigns
Narconon® Trois-Rivieres is very present in the local community. Since 2005, the drug prevention lecture "All the Truths About Drugs" has been given to over 13 105 individuals. The growing presence of Narconon Trois-Rivieres in Quebec has encouraged numerous promising partnerships that will help offer the drug prevention lecture to many more. |
 |
Furthermore, they offer free of charge a drug education brochure, "10 Things That Your Friends May Not Know About Drugs," which you can get here. |
"Our professionals, many of whom are former drug addicts, speak from their own experiences with drugs and give a realistic picture of drug use. We don't just tell kids to "say no"; we educate them to come to that conclusion on their own, and more importantly, show them how to say no and what exactly they are saying no to."

Narconon Vancouver Society is working with individuals and businesses to provide drug prevention kits to ultimately every school in Canada, so as to educate an entire generation of Canadians. We also consult families and those with drug problems on how to end addiction problems through using the Narconon detox and rehabilitation programs.

"The most cost effective and successful approach to dealing with youth and drugs is prevention. While many feel that scare tactics or enforcement are the best methods of preventing youth addiction, other methods are needed to communicate to the curious, recreational or experimental user of drugs.
